How do you know what size Bumbles Band or Set will fit best on you?

Just follow these simple tips:

1. Use a soft tape or, our downloadable version found Here. (You must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to print the downloadable tape. Click Here for a copy). Measure around your wrist, just above the wrist bone (closest to your elbow). Do not adjust the tape for fit- that comes later. Measure exactly, without tugging or pinching the skin. Record your measurement.

2. Bumbles bands come in four different sizes: Small – 4.5”, Medium – 5”, Large – 5.5”, and Ex-large – 6”.

3. Your choice in band size will depend on the watch face. Faces come in four different sizes: 1.25”, 1.5”, 1.75”, and 2”.

4. Add the band length to the face length. If you prefer a snug fit, order the face and band that will measure as close to your wrist size as possible. If you want a comfortable fit, that may move slightly, order the face and band that measures .25” to .5” larger than your wrist. If you prefer a very loose fit- like a bracelet- order the face and band that is .75” to 1” larger than your wrist. Keep in mind that Band Chunkiness may slightly vary your fit so be sure to check the long description on the band/set page to make any necessary adjustments to your size choice.
Note: when ordering a set, the face shown and band lengths have already been added for you. So . . . order according to the measurements given- you don’t have to do any math in that section.

5. Band variables: Most bands are made with an average size bead that will fall into line with what is written above. Some bands, though, are made with chunkier – or less chunky beads. This must be taken into consideration when ordering. Be sure to read the long description on each band/set page before making your size selection. See the examples below for clarification.

Sizing Examples

Example One: First, I measure my wrist. It is 6.5” around. So… depending on the face length, I may want anything from a small to a large. I have bigger bones, so, I prefer the larger faces, they balance out my bone structure. I plan on ordering the 1.75” and the 2” faces. If I order the small band, the 2” face will fit, (according to the tips above), snug. And the 1.75” face with the small band will be shorter than my wrist circumference. I want my Bumbles Watch to fit comfortable and I don’t mind if it moves slightly, so, I’m going to order the Medium band. When I where it with the 1.75” face, my Bumbles will be .25” larger than my wrist and when I wear it with the 2”, it will fit .5” larger than my wrist- which may give me a little movement with the average size Beaded Band- but that’s ok.

Example Two: I’m ordering the Brown Bone 4 Rectangle and the Luxor. Should I order the same size band for both of these? NO! This is where the long description comes into play. The Brown Bone beads are flat- this may cause it to fit more loosely. Whereas, the Luxor is extremely chunky – I must take into consideration the space those chunky beads will take up. In the end, I would rather have my Bumbles fit a little loose, other than too tight. So, I order the Brown Bone in Medium, the 1.75” Brown Landscape face, and the Luxor in Large.

Example Three: All this adding and subtracting, wondering if I’m ordering the right size, is making my head hurt. AGHHHH!! Thank goodness I can order my Bumbles in sets. The total length is already given for me. I just have to know my wrist length and how I like my Bumbles to fit. Plus, I don’t have to guess whether or not the face I choose looks good with the band. Someone has already done that for me. The nice thing about it, too, is that I can order any set and request, in the comments or notes, to have the face shown swapped out for another one of a different color or style.
